RTI’s Active Knowledge Environment (RAKE) RTI has created a set of sophisticated web-based tools that make up the RTI Active Knowledge Environment (RAKE). RAKE is a web environment built to support internal RTI business processes such as time and expense reporting, employee status reporting, skills & resource management, project & task tracking, and human resources management. Most of the RAKE tools are integrated with RTI's web site and also allow RTI to modify its web pages easily – the data is stored in a relational database, andthe content is dynamically generated. RAKE also provides the ability to quickly develop customer portals to provide rapid business-to-business information sharing between RTI project teams and customers. The RAKE environment demonstrates our understanding of how to design and maintain an integrated web site. Rake is providing RTI with the infrastructure to build a fully integrated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System tied to a dynamic Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Web based facility.
