RTI has been awarded a new subcontract from Prologic, Inc. MANASSAS, VIRGINIA –September 05, 2006– RTI has been awarded a new subcontract from Prologic, Inc. to support the development of Multi-Sensor Enhancements ans Support for OPUS (MESO) Short Range Electromagnetic Detetection (SHRED). A description of the work to be performed under this one-year effort is: "Integration of unattended sensors and tagging devices into a universal, standards based, hardware dissemination platform furthers the environments into which these systems can be deployed. Integration of the sensor interface and long haul communication hardware platform with a web based software mapping package supports remote monitoring from potentially any location around the world. This project leverages ongoing military research and development activities which have led to several successful field tests of the independently developed sensor interface device, sensor planning system, and unique sensor devices. These systems include the Optimal Placement of Unattended Sensors (OPUS) program developed by Prologic for USSOCOM, and the SensorView System for command, control, and monitoring of chemical and biological sensor deployments independently developed by Ricciardi Technologies, Inc. In addition, unique sensors and tagging device research currently ongoing at the US Army Battle Command Battle Lab (BCBL-H) Experimentation Division and the Information Dominance Center (IDC) under the BELT project will also be leveraged." This work will help to extend our SensorView/OneVoice product line outside of the CBRN arena.
