Ricciardi Technolgoies praised at Team Submarine/NAVSEA Conference
Richard Udicious, Vice President, Submarine Programs Lockheed Martin MS2 comments regarding Ricciardi Technolgoies at Team Submarine and Naval Sea Systems Command sponsored Woman-Owned Business Conference at Sweet Briar College on October 16, 2003
"It takes a team with outstanding performance to ensure success...."
Lockheed Martin has developed and produced non-propulsion electronic systems for all submarines in the U.S. Navy fleet. The business unit's design philosophy features open systems architecture and commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) technology to maximize performance and minimize life-cycle costs. Lockheed Martin has used this approach to develop the command, control, and communications, and intelligence system for the Virginia class submarine. Lockheed Martin also provides the Navy with acoustics upgrades for the in-service submarine fleet through the ARCI program. Through the Advanced Processing Build process, yearly software upgrades add performance enhancements that have enabled the Navy to recapture undersea superiority.
The Ricciardi Technologies, Inc. "can do" attitude, coupled with dedication to performance and customer service, consistently places it in the top five small business vendors for MS2 that include Germane Systems, High Purity Systems, Ohm Systems and Solve It, Inc. Lockheed Martin and Ricciardi Technolgoies, Inc.: a genuine success story.
