RTI Successfully Completes JSIPP Data Acquisition System MANASSAS, VIRGINIA –October 27, 2004– RTI was placed under contract by NSWC Dahlgren to develop a logistical data acquisition system to support the collection of statistical and operational data from all 6 JSIPP installations. The JDAS system provided a software plugin to each base, which allowed data from the individual systems to be collected into a central repository. New data was then displayed, in near real-time, via the same SensorView command post software installed at the bases. The JDAS operator could see the status and location of each sensor in the network, via the SensorView map software, as well as new incoming alarms and sensor reports. This data was also made available via a web interface, which allowed logistical and statistical tracking of long term data trends. NSWC Dahlgren has recognized the successful completion of the project and “appreciate[s] [RTI’s] support of the JDAS program/integration over the last year.
