RTI Presents Latest Technology in Biological Warfare Agent Systems to CIT Board of Directors

RTI was proud to be selected as the feature company to present at the Center for Innovative Technology (CIT), www.cit.org, Board of Director's Meeting on Wednesday October 10, 2001.The meeting was held at the historic Jefferson Hotel in Richmond, VA. In particular, RTI was asked to present at this particular meeting due to its unique capabilities and expertise in the areas of Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical (NBC) sensors and systems.

RTI provided the board with the most current information in chemical and biological warfare and response systems in the following areas:
  • Characteristics of NBC Systems
  • Primary Types of NBC Systems
  • State of the Art Current NBC Capabilities
  • What is Needed for the Civilian Agencies and First Responders
  • The Next Generation NBC System that RTI is Developing
Subsequently, RTI was honored to have lunch with the CIT Board members, including The Honorable Donald W. Upson, the Commonwealth of Virginia's first Secretary of Technology.
