RTI Selected to Present and Be Published at the First Joint Conference on Point Detection
Fairfax, VA) September 15, 2000 - The "First Joint Conference on Point Detection for Chemical and Biological
Defense" is being organized by the Joint Science and Technology Panel on
Chemical and Biological Defense (JSTPCBD) in cooperation with the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force and U.S. Marine Corps, and other CB Agencies. The conference will be held at The Williamsburg Hospitality House, Williamsburg, Virginia, 23-27 October 2000. http://www.1jcpd.com/
The conference will address issues related to development of point detectors based on state-of-the-art methodologies for reconnaissance, detection, identification, and quantification, of both Chemical and Biological agents. Such systems will continue to have a profound impact on chemical/biological defense, environmental and food monitoring, the health industry, meteorology and various research and industrial endeavors. Particular attention will be
given to the subsystems that make up a C/B Point Detector.
