Procedural & Object-Oriented Programming

RTI software development credentials have kept pace with the evolving state of software technology. RTI engineers are familiar with both Procedural and Object Oriented Development (OOD). Representative efforts that demonstrate these capabilities are:

  • Logistics Management Institute - At LMI, RTI is involved in the design and development of a Web Based Modeling system (ASAC-EA) utilizing several distributed HP Unix servers talking to PC workstations over browsers, utilizing CORBA services. This system is totally based on OO methodologies for both Design and Programming.
  • IBM Federal System - In support of the Advanced Training System, RTI was tasked with developing an Object-Based design, utilizing Ada and a GUI front end. This system was based on a distributed model for providing worldwide classroom support and training to Air-Force personnel. RTI was given honors for its ability to quickly become part of the team and help ensure the delivery of this important system to the Air Force.
  • Motorola - In support of the Generic Messaging System, RTI engineers are performing an internal research project consisting of the Object Oriented development of a multi-platform systems approach. RTI was chosen to support this strategic task based on the demonstrated Military Messaging System expertise of its technical staff.

Other related efforts include:

  • CACI, Inc./Xerox - JCALS Support
  • Motorola - GCCS / COE Segment inclusion
  • Loral - Navy 78A re-hosting efforts
