RTI's Mobile Solutions Division (MSD) works closely with the other RTI divisions to provide support in the areas of wireless communication and portable device data management. MSD solutions deal with real-time data management as well as mission critical solutions to government/military and commercial customers.

RTI’s Mobile Solutions Division leverages our existing experience and expertise in embedded systems, web development, and software systems design to provide our customers with solutions that allow them to expand existing systems beyond the desktop.

RTI’s Mobile Solutions Division exists to help our customers make sense of the ever-growing number of mobile systems, standards, and products. We work closely with our customers to provide cost-effective solutions that will appeal to the largest number of data consumers without impacting existing systems and processes.

It is our goal to empower our customers by providing faster and more convenient access to vial information thru:

• Lightweight interfaces making use of technologies such as WAP - Available on most new cellular phones and mobile devices.
• PDA’s and handheld computers - Robust networking and configuration options utilizing Windows CE, Palm OS, or the Symbian operating system.
• J2ME – Portable applications utilizing the Java 2 Micro Edition. Solutions that will run on cell phones, pdas, and other mobile devices as they come available.

Navigating the often muddied waters of mobile and wireless standards can be a daunting task. Developing a strategy for integrating current systems and services can be tougher still.
