In the communications area, RTI engineers have been involved in both ground and space based systems software and hardware support.

Representative work includes:

• Lockheed Martin - RTI provided support in the development of the ACeS Satellite System, a C and L band communication satellite. RTI personnel are currently involved in Lead roles in both flight software and test suites. RTI also provided Lead hardware support in the design of the digital beamforming ASICs and FPGAs.
• Lockheed Martin Librascope - RTI assisted in the evaluation of wireless telemetry link automated test & evaluation suites in order to help select a radio for to be utilized in the Biological Aerosol Warfare System (BAWS98).
